Back to hometown

Since last weekend, my wife and I were quite busy packing our stuff because we will be moving to a new house next month. Emm... not really a new house, it's abah's house in Kedah.

My wife will be back to our hometown J****, while I continue to serve my employer until end of this year before following her.

Actually, we've been planning to go back to Kedah since last year but it remains just merely a topic of chatting between us and no concrete decision made. At that time my wife's still doing her master and I'm working here. I also tried my luck to apply for post of lecturer in a university and Peg. Tadbir negeri, but to no avail.

Immediately after my wife completed her master last May, we started to talk about that matter seriously. Coincidentally, abah is not feeling well. Twice he has been hospitalised this year due to his asthma/penat. No one at home to take care of him other than mak. Tok also is not feeling well. This is the main reason that min feels she should be at home; mak cannot drive, and sakit penat abah pulak unpredictable. That night, masa abah teruk sangat penat pukul tiga pagi, fortunately adik Amni was there to drive him to hospital. If adik takde, sure teruk la mak, mesti terpaksa minta tolong jiran. Abah was warded for 8 days then.

Moreover, recently wife received an offer by O** to be a part time lecturer at its Kedah campus at I**A. And surprisingly I also received an offer of sponsorhip to do master, and planning to do it at U**. Next intake is in November. Syukur pada Tuhan...

So, for next 5 months, we'll be living separately and I hardly can imagine how's my life gonna be... She is there in Kedah and I am here in KL. Only fortnightly during weekend I'll be able to see her and our little son. Oh my...
