Jeff's issue has receded, no longer frontpage story in last 2-3 days. The hullabaloo is purposely created to divert public attention from more important issues like recent price hike due to increased petrol prices and money politics. After all, that's the main job of spin doctor, they must obey their lord and do whatever their lord order them to do.

The recent price hike are taking its toll now. It's reported there are "price hike fair" in almost all states in Malaysia. Though Paklah and Najib tried at best to convince Joe Public there will be no adverse impact from the Govervment move of increasing petrol prices, public worry seems never to cease.

There is already hike in the price of consumer goods. With the impending coming of Ramadhan, this probably not a good news for us. Bus operators are also contemplating to rise their service fees. Today's newspaper cited TNB's CEO of saying that there might be some hike in electricity tariff as some of their power supply plants use petroluem.

Poor Malaysians, troubles seem to keep on flooding to our doors. What's next for us?
